How Is Spravato Dosed For Treatment-Resistant Depression?
For adults with treatment-resistant depression, current FDA prescribing information divides Spravato treatment into induction and maintenance phases.
During weeks one through four, Spravato is administered twice weekly. The recommended starting dose on day one is either 56 mg or 84 mg. Subsequent doses may be 56 mg or 84 mg, depending on your response and tolerance to the medication.
After the initial four weeks, the frequency generally decreases. During weeks five through eight, treatment is administered once weekly at either 56 mg or 84 mg.
